I'm a geochemist. My main interest is in-situ mass spectrometry, but I have a soft spot in my heart for thermodynamics, poetry, drillers, trees, bicycles, and cosmochemistry.

Haha Silver Fox, that's what I thought of too.
I've warned the world of this very fact! See http://geotripper.blogspot.com/2008/11/domestic-mammals-in-field.html. I didn't know how they were gonna do it, but now I know!
Finally, a flow chart I can understand. Do you suppose there's such a thing as a cow tipping point?
I have a former prof that was convinced that crabs would take over the world, because their "opposible thumb" (sp.?) would allow them to hold weapons, writing implements, etc..
But then I guess the cows could just step on the crabs to settle that point.
